1. Click here for updated Blood Elf and Draenei models

NOTE: You will need to delete warmane's custom patches if you have them, they are named "patch-w.mpq" in your data folder and "patch-enUS-w.mpq" in your enUS folder (It may be called enGB or different depending on your location, just change it according to your location, use this for assistance: http://www.andiamo.co.uk/resources/iso-language-codes)

Hi, I've been playing around with some patches for a while and have figured out how to use updated Blood Elf and Draenei models in the game, it's through this patch:

    https://mega.nz/#!1V0RwBLJ!PosLF-bLR...UQcUO5B0sdxryk

To use it, simply download it through your browser (Or the Mega client if you wish)

Then replace the WoW.exe application in your game files with the one the folder includes, and add Patch-J and Patch-V to your data folder inside your WOTLK folder, and tada, it's done.
(Beware potential bugs, make a back up folder of your current data file)

Here is another patch for a much better water texture, which I believe is from WoD, copy it into your data folder if you want it.

Proof of all these patches working in a 3.3.5 client:

They're not the smoothest or best models, but they're the only ones available that I could find, and I prefer them to the older models. There are a few bugs, if you can learn to overlook them then it's all good.

Hope this helps some of you, enjoy.

  2. You should probably link a virus check of these links if you want anyone to use them.

  3. "Filename: MODELLI WOD 3.3.5.rar
    out of memory"
When trying to download via browser, and client doesn't want to recognize the download.

  4. I tested Water texture patch and it's good
Avira and Malwarebytes don't detect virus too.

Do you have more texture patch ?

That's all I have at the moment, you could try playing around on http://modcraft.superparanoid.de/ if you want to try and add more.

  7. Alright, I got it to work. The issue is that other models are invisible. How do you keep warmanes wod models and use these at the same time? Also when I ported to Dalaran the client insta-crashed.
Edit: Can't even be in Ironforge, it insta-crashes there too.

I removed the warmane model patches and put these in instead.

Which mpq are those? 2, 3 and w?

Believe it's patch-w.mpq in the data folder, and inside your enUS ( or whatever it's called ) there should be one that will say something similar such as like "blah blah-w.mpq"

I tried moving that one out of the folder, but other models still don't work (as in invisible). Also it makes the character menu crash. I also tried removing 2 & 3, but warmanes wod models still didn't work - but at least character menu didn't crash.

I added patch-J and patch-V to the data files, and deleted patch-w.mpq and patch-enGB-w.mpq and replaced the current WoW.exe with the one in the folder I downloaded, after that it was all fine for me.

I did the same, except that I can't find a file called "patch-enGB-w.mpq".

Delete patch-w.mpq, then go inside enUS and delete "patch-enUS-w.mpq" sorry I forgot it changes

After that copy patch-j and patch-v over

Thanks a lot! Works now :^)

Found some funny oddities but otherwise no other issues found so far:
