Right now we are starting with T2 relentless weapons, farming for T1 wrathful weapons. The difference in those weapons isn´t really big.
Starting with rele gear and T2 weapons gives weapon dependant classes like warrior a big advantage. It would be more enjoyable balance wise if we start of with T1 rele weapons, followed up by T2 rele and T1 wrath. Might just take the T1 wrath requirements for the T2 rele weapons and set the T1 wrath weapon requirements slightly higher.
