I have recently started playing my DK again and just realized that the Death Grip is bugged when it comes to melee range? I have no retail experience so correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik there shouldn't be any range limitations, and I am unable to use grip when in melee range to e.g. interrupt a cast, I have to move away like with charge and then grip, and it is physically impossible to do that in 1.1 second.
Anyone encountered the same problem or is it how the grip is actually supposed to work?
You just said it yourself-unintended change back on patch 3.3. As a matter of fact it seems like it did go live but was potentially patched after some other major patch as an undocumented change.
So any new? Fixed should be melee range or 8 yard?
I mean here... on warmane..
But blackrock has best scripts and before the merge witb warmane AT always had 8 yard minimum i think.
Played on retail wotlk untill ruby sanctum release and i can asure u that u wer able to use death grip in melee range to interupt pala using aura mastery. There is no minimum range on the spell text aswell so idk in which logic u would assume that grip should have 8yards range. Look at hunter spells and look at death grip...
