    Icecrown most popular

How come Icecrown is the most popular now? Lordaeron used to have more players, but now it has changed. What happened? Also which realm would you recommend to play on?

    Thanks.

Lordaerons philosphy of a hardcore realm where rdf is disabled and heirloom arent available doesnt seem to be attractive for the majority of players so now they prefer to play on Icecrown.
Second problem are the custom boss buffs in Naxx which makes it just too hard to gear up so ppl lose the motivation to play on lordaeron.

So Icecrown has rdf? It would suck without it.

    Thanks for the reply.

Lordaeron - Hardcore overbuffed realm, No heirlooms.
Icecream - Paypal gladiators + multiboxer cancer.

If you are PVE player without bdsm addiction - Icecream is for you.

Just decide to enjoy your stay at icecrown.

7x experience rates gives you the chance to level a char in a few days to level 80. so you can test every single class for yourself.

thats the way i have done it so far. you can make a great experience to understand every mechanic/playstyle of every class in wotlk.

The only reason many people went to play on Lord was the new core, now that Icecrown is basically the same what's the point?
We have RDF, no custom raid buffs, all heirlooms available and leveling doesn't take like 1 month... Icecrown is more appealing to normal people ;p

Stupid question Im sure, but are heirlooms still acquired with badges here like it was on retail wotlk?

    What other people say indeed....
Icecrown has high population, latest fixes etc. etc. all that lordaeron has but more:
    - dungeon finder
    - higher rates
    - no extremely buffed bosses (so they have normal retail-like stats)

Especially the latter is important to alot of people.
