1. Yogg-Saron 10man [ 4 keepers ]

    So yesterday my guild spent 4 hours wiping on phase 3 of Yogg-Saron, trying to figure out what the actual fiddlestix to do with the adds that spawn in that last phase

    We tried a number of tactics dealing with the adds, Switching all range dps on them while melee sit on the boss, ect ect you get the point
    The point im going to be making here is that the adds that spawn in p3 have 300k HP, prepared to retail's 100k! They spawn every 10-15 seconds, so realistically you need 5 dps all doing 6k dps on the add while you have two dps to try and burn 8m hp on Yogg within 5-7 minutes on enrage which is almost impossible.

    The whole fight is great, the tentacles in p2 are perfect, a challenge yes but it's manageable, But as soon as we get into phase 3 we down the first 3-4 adds fine while we have lust, but once that 5th add comes out and he does that healing buff to the other adds, we just get over ran, For a hardcore guild, you can manage that quiet easily, but coming from not a hardcore progression guild, it feels like its too much HP on the adds for us to burn, considering its with all 4 keepers down also.

    100k - 300k is an extreme buff considering the last phase is mean to be the "burn phase" we legit got 500k - 1million damage on the boss before we wiped multiple times, maybe we could get some tips from other guilds who have cleared it.

  2. you can pretty much put 1 warlock on the boss and then everyone else on adds and ti's super free, shadowpriest maybe work also

  3. adds that are about to heal themselves will turn their names to "marked immortal guardian". the trick is to have a hunter or plate dps taunt them out of the group so they dont spread their heal to other adds and yogg.

  4. We killed it yesterday with having 2 ranged on the boss constantly, rest of the dps killing the adds or getting them low, also timing it on empering shadows by getting it low just before shadow beacon (empering) hits.

  5. you have a 40% dmg buff...

    Every dps should be able to do way more than 6k single, around the 8k mark should be expected... so you only need like 4 on the adds... and the tank does dps so you only need like 3-4 + tank depending on your dps... and you have no execute classes... a lock with the 40% dmg buff can do like 14-15k dps on yogg with his execute easily... which is like 70% of what you need to kill him in 6 mins.

    If your ranged is having trouble doing 11k (2 ranged over 6 mins on yogg) which is the ballpark of like 7-8k single unbuffed, which is definitely not unrealistic with executes, you might just need new ranged.

    Posting logs would definitely help further see what the issue is, cause tactics certainly don't seem to be the issue.
