Won't open on mac

I downloaded the wrath of lich king expansion on warmane and it finished downloading smoothly on utorrent but when i went to open it is said this "The application World of Warcraft cannot open" thats all it says no details no nothing. It also said the same thing for the wow launcher.

That client isn't designed to work on Mac. You'll need to get a program such as Wine to get it to work.

I do have wine what do i do with it?

I wouldn't know. I've never used a Mac. I imagine you can find some articles on it on google, though.

Wotlk client has Mac version available on download page. Since the error message recognizes it as application I assume that's what you have downloaded already. If you see .app file not .exe then it's Mac version. You can check this thread and links in it for possible solutions: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....-os-x-yosemite
