WotLK Trying to get into restoration druid as a dual spec. Need a bit of help.

Hi! So i picked resto as my secondary spec and i dont know where to go from here, i heard a lot of things about this spec and everyone said something different, so, im gonna ask you guys.

First off, im a pvp kinda guy, and as far as i understand im a healer, so in arenas and bgs i keep everyone alive, then when it comes to wpvp i switch to boomie?

Second, do boomie and resto share the same stats? (think about spell power for example).


Thirdly, im low geared, so for now pve wise i should just keep healing dungeons right?

In PVP, yeah basically your most important task is to keep you & your party members alive. Second to that is damaging and CCing the enemies. In world PVP if you're by yourself and planning to kill people, yes you'll either want to go boomkin or feral. If you're with a DPS you can stay resto if you'd like to keep both of you alive, or you can use another spec not too important. Both resto druid and boomkins primary stat is spellpower yes, resto druid though focuses more on mp5/spirit as secondary stats whereas boomkin focuses on haste/crit as secondary stats. PVE any spec is fine, if you like healing keep doing that, if you want to DPS as a boomkin or feral try out that! Good luck with the gearing, and hope that answers your questions. ^^
