ICC Lootship "an encounter is in progress"

So someone started lootship before we were ready. We wiped it and now we're all stuck outside and every time we try to get back inside it says, "an encounter is in progress."

We've tried changing to 25 and heroic etc, but still get the same message. Is it worth waiting for or would we need a server restart for this to be fixed?
