WotLK Game crashing when trying to change hairstyle

I deleted and re-downloaded the Lordaeron server and upon logging on my game crashed. Compatibility settings were applied and the game ran fine but on one of my toons, Kennyy, I noticed his hair and facial hair had been changed so I flew to a barber and realized that it still shows that I have the soldier haircut selected but that it is not what appears all hair options left my toon bald and while flipping through the hair options my game once again crashed. This continues to happen and I am unable to change my toons appearance without the game crashing. Please let me know how I can fix this.

Have you deleted the patch-w files, in order to obtain the WoD character models?
