is there a bug with spirit beasts because when i tame them the channel cancels it self? and this also happens with my shadow priest

by giving my shadow priest as an example i meant the bug about channeled abilitys, when i cast mind flay it cancells it self
so what you're saying is if you channel an ability and not move or otherwise interrupt it, the last tick of Mind Sear will not occur as the cast 'cancels' instead of 'tick and cancel' which also prevents beast taming because the channel 'cancels' instead of completing?
edit: just tested Mind Flay on my lvl 10 priest and it works fine, ticks 3x as it's supposed to so I don't think your issue is server code based
