1. Where is the Changelog?

So they said it will be out tomorrow? So where is it?

  2. Did you really think they will post changelog? lol

  3. Is tomorrow over yet?
+ tomorrow has been pretty long before in the past. If it is not up yet in 2 days from this post, then it is weird.

I expect it to be up around 1 hour before the day ends (website time). Otherwise tomorrow morning.

  4. Tomorrow means the next day they gona update cata, soo take your time it will apear in a month or two. Nah jk nice updates just lets hope they gona fix what they overupdated like jc dailies, firelands and i think priest pet cause with haste procs + bl i managed to get 103% of my mana back(i got 159k while my base mana was 157k) lovely stuff, but i guess such levels of haste can only be reached by people who already clearing entire ds hc soo i guess it won't affect other people that much

  5. Here's the changelog, please, could you even try to find it before posting something like this.

that's a player-created changelog, not a warmane posted proper one with everything including what players may not have noticed

  7. They don't need a changelog cause the updates are so minuscule.

it's much more likely that it's just so much stuff that needs to be put into it that it's taking a lot longer than expected... especially when you realize you need to basically: (this is general example)

check change in long *** list of probably 500+ lines
    cata.openwow.com your spell/npc/item/object link
check the bugtracker entry for it then put something like the following line together after putting your "list" tag in place

[*]Balanced Heartseeker scaling poorly with player level corrected report #4566363

rinse and repeat for every single spell, npc, object, itemsets... EVERYTHING

it's basically the WoW private server equivalent to boring paperwork that someone has to do but noone really likes doing at all

edit: would just like to point out that this 'changelog entry' line is completely made up

Or, everytime they "update" the server, all they are doing is changing some part of the code and so they themselves don't know what will be the changes (if any) and obviously they haven't extensively tested it on a test server as they don't have enough devs working for cata so they just say "blah blah server update" and leave it at that.

Some quests provided in changelog aren't fixed at all. :(

  11. well apart from some spelling and like half the bugtracker reports being hidden from normal users... more or less what I expected

  12. I am not playing here for some time since Legion came out but I was curious that cata finaly received a changelog, but after seeing it im rather shocked than happy because of the following "fixes":
"Combat will now start on spell cast rather than on spell hit" - if you make a simple research how the combat system works you will see that you get in combat slightly after the spell hits (here will be probably on spell hit since warmane doesn't have the in built lag that blizz has).

Ring of Frost will now freeze even if mage is out of LoS report #4273 - is it me or you did actually the opposite of what the bug report says "Ring of Frost requires Mage to be in LoS of target in order to freeze." which if it is you fixed nothing since this was the way it was working before. If the mage does not see the target Ring of Frost should not freeze the target.

Also not sure if developers are aware but most of the class fixes are still not applied and would be good to see them live.

Privacy was set on them so some of them were invisible. This was correct. As for some quests that are marked as 'Pending', they're actually fixed, just not yet updated on their public status.

Matter of a few moments to change some of them. There can always be errors and in the Cataclysm changelog we noticed too where the fix isn't yet live or in the last moment the fix was rejected as not complete.
