1. UH or Blood Presence for Frost DK PvP? What Glyphs too?

What's the best presence for PvP? This is my current talent tree:

And what are the best glyphs?

  2. Unholy for sure. Id go with Frost strike, Hungering cold and AMS.

    I like this build :D.

    Thanks!

I'm not really a fan of hungering cold honestly, the range isn't anything special and it breaks as soon as I cause damage. I also didn't even unlock it in the talents :D

I'll switch the Hungering Cold glyph for another, Would you recommend blood tap glyph(+10% life healed) or icy touch glyph(+20% icy touch dmg) or obliterate(+25% obliterate dmg)?

  4. Well Id say Rune Tap. But do spec in Hungering Cold for sure!
Its really useful. You can use it in BG, where a lot of enemies are present. In duels it can be used to wait for some cooldowns still on cd, or wait for enemy cd to drop etc. Or simply to heal up with bandage and start unbreakable armor etc.
The glyph is important because it allows you to use it on demand. For now get creative and have fun with the skill itself, Im sure in time youll change the glyph yourself.

Use that build if you really want Rune Tap though. Yours is missing Annihilation, which is a must.

Also, why Unholy auro and not Blood? Blood gives you a bit more sustain and +15% DPS while unholy reduces 0.5s cd , 15 % atk speed and movement speed.

I find myself often without runes to use so the extra skill cd won't really help much after I finish the rotation where I must wait for the runes to get off cd

Eh, annihilation is alright but my main source of damage is FS so I don't use it much, maybe once or twice in a full rotation

  6. Well in PvP everything is dynamic, so a lower gcd means faster FS output when the time is right. Imagine you get close to someone with a full RP bar, youll want to dump that fast, its called burst. Also allows you to use a cd in between rotation faster, or maybe chains for a slow etc.
As for annihilation, you need it mainly for the disease consume thingie. F and U runes can be used by ether DS or Oblit, one is a heal up, the other is dps. So vs clothers, on which oblit hits hard, youll wanna use that. Also the CotG talent makes oblit generate more rp, so that means more frost strikes.
Basically you start with chains+plague, 2xBS and then Oblit, after which its 3xOblits etc, big portion of your rotation. You cant lose diseases after every oblit.

Actually you don't want to use Obliterate unless it's to finish off a low hp low armored target. Using Chains+Plague Strike is a better way to utilize a frost and an unholy rune.

  8. Hmm, sounds good. Chains + Plague for normal situations and Oblit for bursting.
