Actually the price is higher compare to vote shop. I remember that voldrethar was like 120-130 points back then (equivalent to 12-13 points now) and now it's 18 points. Not to mention that we need to farm achieve this time than the previous click to vote.

yes but its not fair for these players whos collect this points like 20+ days for 1 item and missing up to 10 coins or lower for this item. they just give us too low time to spend this that we are collect. i collect for deathbringer's will 21.9 points for now and from 2 months playing in this server i didnt see it drop once. dont have chance even to roll once for it!!!

Points: 21.9 collecting soo much time to get 1 trinkcet and they dont give ppl change to spend this points!! One guy say "How about we put a new option outthere for everyone's condideration, and that is ~30 days before the point shop changes. I think its only fair to everyone, because 9/10 people will still be missing a point or 2 for the item - these 3 days will only change who it's gonna be. 30 days so everyone can finish their last item, but can't start a new one" i think 99% of the players will aggre with that.

Agree, that would be fair. They took decision in an instant like proterean said. If we get a 30 days warning everyone could plan the item most needed on their char.
But its a good thing they stoped with this free icc gear, now ppl will be more motivated to raid, mounts on point shop would be awesome tho.

pvp titles not being available anymore, hand of adal not available anymore, getting a tribute to dedicated insanity achieve thru bugs, getting a lot of achievements thru bugs and so on and so on

there is much stuff that if guys knew about would say its not fair but what ca they do they cant retroactively do stuff so just some people would find it fair

what we can do is adapt and move on

You can get an item for every item slot with nothing but PVP, so I really don't see what's the problem. If PvE endgame gear is that important to you, you either raid or donate. Simple as that. Also, there are items in new point shop which can be used in high rated PvP, you don't need CTS or something like that to reach 1950 for helm.

True :D i got 1950 with battlemaster haste not bad tho, but cmon RS N/HC Trinkets are LITERALY huuuuge boost you cant even compare it to pvp trinket..

True, a lot of the items on the shop now are like 17 or 18 points, 17 or 18 days for 1 item, on old vote shop, a lot of these items were only 40 or 50 vote points, which meant you could get them in 4 or 5 days.

Enough with the QQ about voting. Where have you voted in the past year?!?! It was a COURTESY that was given to us by Warmane. Because it was really hard to click the, "Collect points" button once a day.

Real talk though, while it was an extreme luxury for those who have already gone through the PVE content literally hundreds of times to obtain items of such caliber, it was not healthy nor fair to hand out such powerful components for people who literally have no experience with the instance or the encounter. As a long time raider, I am definitely happy more than sad for the loss of such items. It is, in my opinion, a fine change to the server when it comes to the grand scheme of things and I've always endorsed a certain level of fair game (which is why I'd dare to say that the coin shop is also overloaded by a great margin but that is a whole another field of discussion).

It's necessary to remember that there are quite a few decent PVE guilds on Icecrown as of now (and at least 4 of those guilds are extremely devoted towards domination of the end-game content) which means you can always find a place of your own in the community if you've been playing for a while and already bear some sort of PVE-related experience. If, on the other hand, a player has no actual experience of raiding and/or he/she is new to this expansion, it is necessary to remember that their overall understanding of this game is limited, nearly inexistent, in every single form, especially if there is no one helping out. Stat priority, itemization, world mechanics (classes, boss fights, general game mechanics etc.) are the things which should be learned at least to the minimal extent. Being casual is no excuse when it comes to this particular field, if you are willing to go out there and get a certain item which is nearly best in slot, you better know how to deal with the fight (while handling your class) which actually offers that loot.

The shop change makes you learn how to play this game, not just come here to wait for 30 days to get an item which is going to amplify the game experience drastically in both PVE and PVP. To be completely honest, this change hurts those who have already gone through the PVE end-game content countless times on their main+alt characters and at the same time is going to encourage the newer players to actually try harder for the items they wish to obtain. It is ultimately a change towards the proper balance.

As far as I'm aware, Warmane never considered itself a "fun server". Plus you're failing on a single point of interpretation;

You're trying to make a point through holding the argument that you're the absolute owner of the truth by stating that it isn't fun to play on a x1 rate server. If it wasn't fun for multiple people, the realm Lordaeron wouldn't be capped when it was released and I'm almost 100% sure that it will be capped one more time once Icecrown Citadel gets released. The server state, as a whole on the WOTLK content, and talking through quests, abilities, mechanics, is a lot better than it was when that 20x server existed. And when I state a lot better I mean: A LOT BETTER. Denying this means that you're not recognizing the other side of the cube and you're not even trying to make an effort in order to do so.

This game consists on a daily grinding, on a daily farm and on a progression rate. Therefore, you need to lose time grinding your gear, farming your materials and progressing through raids in order to obtain better gear in overall. What Warmane was doing with multiple of those previous values, was offering an experience that wouldn't make any kind of sense considering that it's already easy to achieve the top table of the grind with a 3x rate. If you're truly not happy with the current state of the server and with the way that rates and the vote point system were handled you have two options: Either you donate and you'll find yourself done with the headaches that you're trying to mention or if that doesn't please you I'm pretty sure that the exit door is open considering that toxic people shouldn't be welcome in the first place.

P.S: And, just for safety, before you tell me to go play Retai then - I already play there but I also play here.

Or at lease more stuff for the point store, because is really limited.
