Because it's one hand sword so you can combine it with shield and look cool as prot warrior :D And for a sake of history.

Arcane crystals is needed to craft arcanite bar for the elementium bars

Congrats man! Im still farming, but the RNG god is not on my side hahah

After 50 MC Runs i can say RNG is ****, but i got them! My roommate on the other hand got em in 3-5 runs. So it's just the arcane left for me, but the main problem is - thorium respawn times are horrable as far as i can see.
