Technical Character creation mods

I had a question regarding if it as allowed to use mods/patches that add more skins, eye colours, hair colours, etc to the character creation screen?
The specific patch I talk about is fairly easy to install, and can't be seen by other players unless they also use the patch.

They are as long as they do not modify Wow.exe. Modifying Wow.exe will trigger Sentinel and you will get an instant ban.
Also, I would try with an alt account first, to make sure it works as expected.
