Forsaken (PC) Evil?

Are the playable Undead evil? I know there are some...disturbing...things with the undead, specifically the "plague all the things!" mindset the apothecaries and Sylvannas seem to have, but the regular old Joe...is he/she evil?

Most of the Forsaken seems evil, and considering their starter quests can lean towards evil, this might also include the players as well.

However, it does not dictate that all of them should be evil. While I'd guess most of them are evil or plain apathetic, it does not rule out any chance of a Forsaken to be valorous, though most of these types of undeads usually left Forsaken in favor of a more neutral organization such as the Argent Crusade (see Leonid Bartholomew for example)

Also, in Cataclysm, there's a quest in Silverpine where an Undead captain sacrifices himself so you survive, I think it was some Worgen ambush in a cave or something.

I think I've heard that one. He survived and managed to show up in Shadowfang Keep didn't he?
