Transmog Question before i use scroll

Can i transmog my warriors plate armor into Airfield Defender's Garb

I just tmogged my 2handed axe into a 2handed sword on my first scroll and it worked so i figured warriors can wear cloth so that should work also? I have asked around and people say no, but i have clearly seen other warriors with " Cloth " robe tmogs so i would like If it works normally or is it cheat engine before i use my last scroll.

Paladin gear sometimes uses a plate robe.

You cannot transmog plate into cloth. There is no 'cheat engine' that will let you do this either.
