Question: What hapens to item prices on the AH during the gold squish?

Hello everyone,

I have tried to search the forums for an answer to this, but could not really find it. Let's say that you have an item for sale for 1000g and there is an active bid on it, is the price of the items also going to be halved? Will I just recieve 500g? Or will I recieve the gold that was orignally bid on my auction. If someone could explain this to me, I would be very gratefull.

All the auctions are going to be cancelled probably before gold squish.

Well they better return all items to their owners or people are going to abuse it.

Correct me if i m worng. Quoting from original post :
What this means is every piece of gold that exists in circulation, be it in the character's inventory, mailbox, guild bank, website trading system or otherwise, will be simply halved.

If we have an active bid on that item it ll be simply halved. u ll get half amount of it. How can u make a theory about abusement ?
