As far as i know, dates in our Wotlk client work as if it was 2008. As we all know, Lunar Festival is based around Chinese New Year, so the correct date when the event should start is February 5th, not January 21st, because in 2008 Chinese New Year was on February 7th.

Year 2017, Lunar New Year date - January 28, Lunar Festival dates January 21 - February 4.

It doesn't matter when it starts on the live servers, we go by year 2008 not 2017 on our Wotlk realms.

That's interesting. It means that the valentines event (Love event which normally occurs around Feb 14 every year) will also occur simultaneously as the Lunar event?
