You get the buff from the basket if both are using the umbrella, but when u eat the buttermilk or something u didnt get the achievement.

For me the basket disappears immediately after one person consumes it.

You only need 1 basket. Person with the basket uses it and the other person clicks the basket and doesn't move. After 3min the person with the basket summons it again for himself. It's a no brainer.... But you don't get credit for eating the delight
