Technical Can't Change Realmlist

Hi everybody, first of all please excuse my english.
I did download the warmane's wow cataclym 4.3.4 zip from a video (i can give the link if needed).
After playing i wanted to change the realmlist (i want to change to another private servr but for a moment), and i did edit the realmlist.
I tried every thing, deleting all lines and copy/past the realmlist of the private server, i've did even edit the config file (the lines with SET realmlist) but nothing works.

If i change the realmlist and try to connect with the account of the private server, i shows me that my password is lost/wrong etc. But it's isnt as that i am copy/pasting it.

If i change the config and the realmlist i cannot simply launch the game.
So how can i change my realmlist?
Again, please excuse me for my bad english and for making you loose your time with this pointless things. I've searched on internet but nothing helps me.

well i knew that this is dumb to ask it but i really want to change the server; as that i am new a fun server isn't the best for me (if warmane had a blizz like cata serv it would be cool)
