Will the new patch coming on March 26th include the removal of Titansteel smelting cooldown for miners like it was removed on 3.3.3? If not will it ever be removed?
Patch 3.3.0 did bring a few changes to professions, such as removing the cool down on transmute titanium and removing the possibility of catching junk while fishing. It is true that it was Patch 3.3.3 that removed the cool down on smelt titansteel, the cool downs and location requirements of crafting moonshroud, spellweave, and ebonweave, and the arrival of Frozo the frozen orb vendor. However, let's not distort the history, this patch released before anyone had even completed ICC25H on the live servers. Patch 3.3.0 with the introduction of the Random Dungeon Finder and patch 3.3.3 with the introduction of the Random Battleground Queue were both released around the same time and both had plenty of quality of life improvements.
Whether or not it makes sense to implement the remaining 3.3.3 changes with the release of Icecrown Citadel is a decision for the staff. If the staggered release of the raid instance is anything to go by they, "don't really see any downsides with fully releasing it at once." Given that, it makes perfect sense to lump all of the changes from patches 3.3.0 through 3.3.3 (the ICC patches) and get the realms mostly caught up with the clients.
