1. Why would you pick the only cloth wearer that relies on armor for this test? Priests are pretty close to the optimal values for arp with just inner fire and pretty much exactly at the cap with glyph of inner fire. There is absolutely no doubt that arp is better against priests as they're as much cloth as boomkins are leather. The only classes who actually tend to have cloth armor values are mages and warlocks.
    Such nonsense.
    A mage with http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=54659 and Ice armor has +6000 armor while the priest I was runing the test with has only 5743 armor.

    Lock is the only class that has a really low amount of armor and even they have around 5k with demon armor.

    Arcane fortitude is part of any default mage spec.
    There are a few mages that put these points in arcane concentration instead but the majority specs into arcane fortitude.
