1. 18 druid healer in top 22 areana team....Im not sure if druide healer would be the best choice...
Druides were the best healer for 2s arena because of their mobility. Pillar humping made them pretty much unkilllable.
Many things that work for a normal player don't work as a multiboxer.
Ele shami for example is considered weak for arena in TBC and still its the best choice for multiboxing in this xpac.

Lifebloom wont help against aoe dmg. When u multibox +5 chars aoe dmg is the biggest threat, not single target dmg.

I wonder how much less aoe dmg is going to be caused in TBC.

Aoe dmg cap was added in Patch 2.2.0: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Area_damage_and_healing_caps
Not sure how high the aoe dmg is in TBC. I think many classes couldn't even deal AoE dmg back then.

If memory serves, the AoE damage hit each target same for 3 mobs or 20, or more. I think it was Wotlk that limited the AoE damg to a set amount, ie... hit more targets for less, or less targets for more. however it is quite hazy, I'm not entirely sure.

    http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Area_damage_caps
"Each rank of each spell has a damage cap. Once this cap will be reached the spell does less damage to compensate so that it will not exceed its cap. The caps are not affected by gear or talents. So if you have good gear, you will reach the cap on (many) fewer mobs."

Thats quite interesting. In TBC the aoe dmg cap doesn't scale with gear. Means blizzard of a low geared mage deals the same amount of dmg like blizzard of a BiS geared mage when hitting many targets.

Later on in Wotlk they changed it so the AoE dmg cap scales with gear.

  8. Yeah, once I read what that link.... a lot of memories came back. I remember that now, its a mechanic they put in to keep the content challenging longer, but also limited on who got to see end game. This will be interesting.
