Paragon has had a quick meeting today in order to prepare everyone for the launch, we've also gone over everyone's roles and responsibilities.
It has been a great initiative by the Warmane management to release a PTR prior to launch, and we thoroughly hope that Outland will bring a challenge in terms of difficulty of the content available. We will still take applications until 13:00 PM server time, after that we will temporarily close appllications as we prepare our roster for the journey through Outland.
Several members will have streams available to view by the curious ones, directly available through our website. We'll also open our Discord channel to everyone on Outland at some point, to socialize, meet and greet others in the community and once applications open again they'll be taken care of by our friendly bot Charlie.

ABOUT
Paragon is a International Guild that will be rolling on Outland. We have a experienced leadership that has been competitive since Vanilla, but have also experienced the "Progression" based content on private servers. On these kind of servers, we've leveled through 1x rates at record speeds, both on Vanilla, Burning and Wrath. Which is one of the reasons we've decided to develop a unique addon that our members will receive prior to launch, in order to ensure that we'll be the first to begin clearing content.
You can expect a fun environment, filled with comedy and terrible actors who has yet seen the light of Hollywood. By no means do we label ourselves as strict, but we expect members to know their role in team-play and value each and everyone equally.

GOALS
Our plan is to be competitive, which means we'll be doing Dungeons, Raids and PVP content more frequnetly as our bottom line is to be among the first to clear content. So initially we are interested in people who share the same mindset as us, who can prioritize consumables, materials and loot to be given to Guild Members in order to speed up our progression and ensure we'll come prepared for the content available. So if you are a team-player who considers himself an active user, who has experience about his class, the content available in Burning Crusade and the mechanics in Dungeons and Raids. You'll be utmost welcome to begin your journey together with us on Outland.
LOOT DISTRIBUTION
We'll be using a system similar to Loot Council. But it'll cover a broader spectrum, some of the key ingredients to this system includes how and what you've contributed towards the guilds progression, your time spent online, your attendance to scheduled activities, your preparation and performance during scheduled activities.
This is a system used by competitive guilds and it ensures that we have members that understands the geography behind team-play, performance and contribution. It also ensures we'll have a well-knit group that put in the work, understands that they'll be rewarded for it and look forward to achieve things together with the guild.
RAIDING & STRATEGIES
- Raid times hasn't been decided yet as we are an International Guild and we have to ensure it'll fit everyone. This will however be decided prior to server launch, but requires a discussion with everyone in the Guild to ensure it'll be as viable as possible.
- You will be required to attend all raids for the first week. You will sign up for raids either by using our Addon, Schedule on our webpage or through the Module in our discord channel.
- You are required to be online 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, that means you must also be available on Discord.
- In the event where your wife get pregnant, if you have overdosed on methamphetamine, or something else that would require your body to physically appear on another location you must let an Officer know about this.
- Once you have signed up to attend a raid, you must come prepared with consumables that would enhance your performance to the max. That does not only include in-game, we'll be pushing content so you are expected to stay sharp the whole way.
- Strategies that we'll be using will be posted on our webpage, as well as integrated to easily pull down and read in-game using our Addon. They will be discussed once, very quickly before we begin the boss encounter so that everyone understands their spot and their responsibility.
Interested users can send me a private message on the forums in order to make an application. We only ask for a short introduction, explaining the experience you have in Burning Crusade and about your class. How many hours a day you spend online, nationallity and age. You must also have a microphone and discord available.

Oh please. There are literally dozens of guilds called some generic crap like Paragon, Static, Enigma, etc - all spread across several servers. Regardless of how prominent any guild becomes they can't claim monopoly over a name that generic.

Paragon is a fairly common name and my terrible creativity came up with it, although a name can change easily and we are open for suggestions as to what the members decide. Regardless if the name is common or not, a name does not make the Guild so the name has little to no meaning at all.
Raid times are undecided at the moment, as we are a international Guild and would like to have the times fit everyone. So far, from my knowledge servertime 19:00-23:00 seem to work fine, although it can be discussed.

So far we've seen great interest and is still looking for all classes. It's important that you have and understand how discord works, a working mirophone is also a requirement, although you won't be required to talk at all times, it's just much easier to get to know someone that way :-)
If you are willing to test and contribute on the PTR realm state that as well, as we've been doing so and will continue doing so, that way we can ensure the content will remain difficult and hopefully the developers take our submissions and requests in mind.

We've begun phase 2 on PTR and our addon is nearly completed. All applicants are required to test content on PTR together with the Guild.

Plan on getting level 70 in 1-2 days upon launch? We've got you covered. Our addon make sure we've got all edges and the fasstest routes to level 70 covered. If you know the class you'll be playing make sure to send me your short application by PM. We have over 21+ raid ready, meth taking, goons prepared to take on the competition on Outland. We've out done the competition on other servers leveling-wise, on other realms and we'll do it again. Our guild ensures that you'll not raid with someone who claims to be "superior" over you, ranks and decisions are not made solely by the decision of the Guild Master or Officers, it's made by the Guild as a whole. We've played on private servers for quite some time now, and we understand children these days like to have "power" and like to be viewed as "superior" to the rest of the Guild. You'll have no such thing take place at Paragon. We are a team, and we'll make all decisions as one unit, there will be no loot distribution between "friends" or "officers" solely because we know each other. We know how to win on server firsts, and we know how to raid, do dungeons and win against the competition. We don't mass-recruitng a bunch of goons solely to make us look better. It's a thing we've learned that other guilds do, in order to look more superior than others. We have an addon in place to ensure that everyone in our "team" make's it to level 70 within 1-2 days, you can be confident that we'll have more level 70's than the competition. If you are a "no-life" or "hardcore" raider than loves competition, loves how people write or push their way towards being the best, you've came to the right place. We've not claimed to be the best, and we won't unless we compelete the whole content before everyone else. We've done it before, but we are not going to act like a bunch of superior ****s like everyone else does. If you're all for that, come send a PM to me and we'll take on the challange together!

It's usually very difficult to level up especially when servers launch and tons of people in the starting areas. Which in turn make you level up slower, we've done in depth research to ensure that isn't going to happen and that our members have the option to take a faster way to reach level 70. But sure people can do it that way too, this is only an option that gives them a edge at no cost.
We have about 35+ people that will be ready on launch day now, still accepting applications from all classes it's important that you have discord and know how to use it. Please mention how many hours a day you'll spend upon launch as it's something that will come into our statistics when we prepare for dungeons and raids.
