Technical Having multiple game clients

Hello, unfortunately my knowledge and skills with computers is not great so this may seem like a stupid question. Is it possible to have both the WOTLK and TBC game clients active at the same time ?

So for example, could I open up and play WOTLK and then 10 minutes later, open up and play TBC or would downloading one client alter the other ?

They are 2 completely different applications as far as your system is concerned, I trust you don't plan on copying one game folder on top of the other :p

as long as you dont stack them into same folder you can play both. just have 2 diff folders and that all.
tho you cant open both wows at the same time. you have to close one to be able to play another.
