Hey guys long time TBC arena player here, been around since AT tbc and still play on deathside sometimes(the only TBC arena server left). I know most of you are from WOTLK so you are used to many more QoL changes compared to TBC. I am here to make your arena experience as close as possible to WOTLK.
Gladdy (wotlk gladius equivelent):
https://github.com/Schaka/gladdy -------- This is what mostly everyone uses for enemy arena frames in TBC, most importantly it lets you go to keybinds and bind "left click 1, 2 and 3" and "right click 1, 2, and 3" This is how you bind target arena 1-3 and focus arena 1-3. TBC retail arena gods can also use Proximo if they want that OG experience, newest version can also set those binds.
Focus Frame:
https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/focus-frame/files ----- TBC does not have focus without this addon, though this is no different than the focus you are used to from WOTLK and this will also let you macro focus abilities like ""/cast [target=focus] sap"" so it's a needed addon for most arena players.
Class Colored Nameplates:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/clas...meplates/files --- This is self explanatory, it makes enemy(and maybe allies) nameplates turn into their class colors just like Wotlk. Very important for arenas imo, for obvious awareness and LoS situations.
Speedy Actions:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...mtqcnNVWDdXbUU ----- In TBC they didn't add the option to turn off ability press on KeyUp, abilities will only go off on keyup and for people not used to this will feel like they are lagging slightly or their abilities are slightly delayed and it will feel clunky. This addon will make your abilities go off on keydown instead of keyup, important and needed for people used to it imo.
Bufflib:
https://github.com/Schaka/BuffLib ------ In wotlk this is already a QoL change but in TBC without this addon you won't be able to see CC durations from your partners on your target, or the duration of your partner's debuffs. You also won't be able to see durations for enemy buffs on your target without this addon. To me this is another very important addon for arena players in TBC.
Interrupt Bar:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...DBDSG1Cc0hEVzg -- Self explanatory, shows cooldowns for enemy interrupts and very needed for lots of arena players.
LoseControl:
https://github.com/Schaka/LoseControl ----- This is more for people more used to more modern Xpac arenas like MoP / WoD / ect(as I don't think this was added in wotlk) since it emulates the feature ingame where it shows the icon of what CC and how long it will be above your head( or wherever you set it). This can also be used to show the icon / duration of CC that you or your partner have done where ever you decide on your UI.
Combat Log Fix:
https://github.com/Schaka/CombatLogFix ------ Keeps your CombatLog from breaking and therefore keeps all addons that use the CombatLog intact, e.g: PartyAbilityBars, LoseControl, MSBT, SCT, InterruptBar, SpellAlerter, Afflicted and many more.
Duel Spec:
Talented:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/talented/files?page=18 --- Basically a addon that creates duel spec if combined with ABS listed below, now all of you can stfu about it.
Action Bar Saver:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...3hYaFh1SThHekU --- This combined with "Talented" will basically make a ghetto duel spec but especially efficient if they allowed us to buy free respec's for a limited time like some other servers.
