WotLK Mana Sustain

As a ret pally/prot pally, I've noticed that I run out of mana constantly, how do I keep my mana sustained during combat?

Make sure you're specced into Judgements of the Wise for Retribution. Use Judgement as frequently as possible. Avoid using Consecration when you're at half mana or below.
Protection relies in keeping Divine Plea up as often as you can, assuming you have the proper talents. Mana is a regular struggle for this spec.

Best way to keep mana on prot pala is to use GBOS on yourself. @end game gear you will have more then enough parry, dodge and block so GBOS will return you mana. And also don't use Consecration if you are on 50% of mana or below.

Also don't shy away from Divine plea. There are always 2 sec gaps in DPS rotation, which is enough time to use Divine plea.
