Different Realms with cross-realm bg/arenas on TBC

Hey , don't think that everybody will be okay with that but , in my opinion , several realms capped at 3k (eventually of course , if population is something above 5k) with cross-realm arenas and bgs will be better than a single server with 12k connected (like in Icecrown), why? Tbc is not made for this , you can't have >3k in outland , it would be a pain to up profession /farm primals etc etc , and this solution will not affect the game because you'll be able to play whenever you want with people on your realm or other realms .It's not something i invented , even on retail they made solution for this .Thank you :)
