Burning Crusade entangling roots tbc

I noticed that Entangling Roots's own bleed dmg removed the root effect from the target.
So everytime you cast root to someone, it unroots after 1 second cause of the bleed dmg.

Is this just a bug or is it really that way on tbc?

Extra question: Should starfire and swarm bleed dmg also unroot target?

every kind of damage (including starfire and swarm) has a chance to unroot it, although the dot from the root itself should not unroot your target. Its a silly bug

I always used rank 1 and it doesn't break from itself in my experience.
