(PVE) Hunters using so many potions in boss fights

Hello there.

I have noticed hunters are using so many potions in a fight. So basically they use a potion every 1min due to their feign death and losing the combat. In a 8min fight you would use 8 potions as a hunter, which represents quite the advantage over the other classes.

Can any hunter that played on retail confirm that it was working the same way over there? Patch is 3.3.5

That is perfectly normal and working as intended

"Using feign death exits the hunter from combat, allowing for such things as eating, mounting, or other activities not possible while in combat. This can also be helpful if needing to afk for a short duration, due to the fact that passing mobs will act as if the hunter is dead."
