WotLK Game freezes PC

Hello guys:

I have a friend wishing to play WOTLK but his PC completly freezes while playing the game, he has to force shutdown. His PC runs several Games just perfect and WOTL is the only one presenting this problem.

His config is:

CPU =AMD Fx 6300
VGA = R7 360
8gb ram

We have no clue what is going on, current games he plays with no problem: Overwatch, paladins, Witcher 3, doom etc.

any help would be much appreciated it.

Assuming he's using the 'updated' wotlk client with legion models.

Im sorry guys, he has a FX 8320 CPU, Win 10 x64 and he downloaded the clint from warname. Thydus ty for your reply but we kinda dont understand what is says. Any other possible fixes? Does anyone had his PC freezing while playing warname Wotlk client?
