What are the bugs that made the Warriors **** at tanking icc? Iirc they're working fine on retail Icc Heroic and Tanked some World's First.
Can anyone elaborate? Thanks! I wanna go prot so

not prot warriors that got broken, boss melee dmg got fixed is what happened.

It's not warrs. It's pala and DK having a bugged (in positive way) Ardent Defender and Will of the Necropolis, it is absorbing moar dmg than it should.

Well with the icc debuff, icc tanking is more on the mitigation side. Paladins and death knights have more damage reduction talents and skills compared to a Prot Warrior. Bears, on the other hand, make it up through their high hp pool. So as a healer, I would take it as a challenge to heal warrior tanks.
As mentioned by Fluffy, ardent and will of necropolis are basically healing and absorbing more than they do.
But do not be disheartened, warrior tanks are arguably the best off tank in ICC due to their utility (safeguard, vigilance, sunder, interrupts, cc, etc.).
P.S. World's first ICC kill is mostly tanked by MT Druid and OT Pala. Not to mention, on Lordaeron (with buffed content), leading guilds use bear and paladin as their Tanks.Edited: May 1, 2017

There aren't any known bugs at the moment that are holding Prot Warrs back. More than anything else it just has to do with how the class isn't as well-equipped at dealing with extremely hard-hitting bosses as other tank specs. The spec is designed to heavily emphasize blocking, which works great for tanking multiple targets, or for tanking fast but soft hitting ones, but when you're talking about bosses that regularly melee you for upwards of 40k the safest bets to fall back on are the ones with more baseline effective health.
Retail trends observed among the players who were the initial ones to push through this content for the first time ever were never going to reflect what you'd observe on a private server many years later whose players would now have the benefit of several years of hindsight.
When pushing for world firsts you make the absolute most of what you have to work with, which usually is a rather limited pool of toons and players, which is why world first compositions often look rather unusual with a number of seemingly questionable elements.

And to be honest i do not like Healing Prot warrs because they are massive pain in the *** to heal with.

Probably warrs arent the best tanks, but we killed LK 25 normal in lordaeron with warr 5.6gs tank

Stating DK leads me to believe you don't know what an "off tank" really is. Sure, around here it tends to be whatever main-tank-built player who offers to off-tank or gets the short end of the stick because they are lesser geared than the other guy. But that's not how it works when you consider actual tank builds and top-end progression at the time.
@thread, all tank classes and specs are viable in every content and on every boss. Doesn't matter what anyone says. It is true. It cannot be argued. However, there are varying degrees of effectiveness, and certain choices may leave you gimped in comparison to other tank choices, but the fact remains - all tank classes are viable in every situation.
