Hello there people,
One question for the staff : I've heard from several people testing the ptr that drop rates have been nerfed to ensure the gearing process takes twice or thrice longer than retail TBC. May i ask why you wanted to do that?

No such thing has been done. Drop rates are x1 as per written in our announcement.

Ah, do you think people overestimated the amount of loot in tbc to begin with then?

Not quite sure what they did, there were no changes in the loot system other than the ones done to be in accordance with the patch 2.1 like removal of badges from certain places and such.
