WotLK Constant DC & Stuck Logging into Game Server

Title pretty much says it all. I'll be able to log-in and play for a bit on Lordaeron, but after a bit, I'll get hit with a DC. I opened command prompt and pinged the login server, sent 4 packets, received 4 (0% loss), average round trip speed was 138ms. Then I did a tracert, a total of 20 hops with a single request time out on the 4th hop, the speed then increased following the 5th hop before the tracert completed at the 20th hop. These statistics don't really suggest anything wrong on my end, so I can only assume there might be some issues going on with the server. If anyone finds anything out or is having similar problems, feel free to post here. Thanks.
