na, they've stated that they're not changing the respawns and profession rates and are not planning to either
Although that was 2 months ago when the only one noticing/complaining about this was me. It's kinda funny because the same thing happened during Cata when I complained about people exploiting HCs but back then everyone hated on me, then finally people and the staff got sick of it too and I was just sitting here and facepalming. At this point, I'm used to being the first one to speak out, only to have my voice shut down and then, after some time, validated. So it's okay.
They'll change the rates. We only need more people to get it to their thick skulls - 1x rates with 5x XP is not okay, default respawns with 15k population is not okay. It's that simple.
taralej is right. Higher respawn rates for nodes or more xp for passions. More like a mixture of both, because first leveling passion with 70 is nearly useless.
And you need mats at 70. Not once but constant.
