Pandaria Status of Healing Priests is warmane MOP PVE

Hey guys, me and my friends are starting a new guild. As of the moment, we are starting to fill our core members and roles. I dont have trouble playing either disc or holy (actually my priest is my most geared character) but im not sure if game breaking skill bugs or instance bug exists currently.

As a healer, how does priest fare in the current state of warmane? Our healing team consists of a resto druid and Elesham/Resto OS. would going priest be good? or should i gear up my other healers (I have all of them at 90 but not geared)

Frankly you will struggle when healing vs a resto shaman or even resto dudu, only endgame gear holy priest can give a challenge to a resto shaman, Disci priest goes way below average of a raid healer.

If you are just starting out and want some progression in soo I'd suggest gearing other healer, as hpriest lacks raid wide cds, only having hymn is kinda sad. But as someone who has mained holy for a long time i can say some of its abilities can be really useful and help out in some crucial situations. But ya, as efka7634 mentioned, holy can show some competition only with near end-game gear.
