Shop and the point system

I know that when the server ll be more stabilised and start run smoothly they will release the shop and coins will start to flow.
What i wonder though is how the points will be given to players since there are no achievs at tbc??
Any ideas suggestions plans from the devs?
I just hope there will do sthing about it cause coins makes gearing alts a little easier.
