free race change to alliance not working on outland

I cannot race change whatsoever it keeps saying "SELECHT A CHARACTER" and the dropdown list doesn't give me anything

It's Faction Change, not Race Change. Are you using the correct one?

Sorry! i meant faction change! and yes i checked multiple times,the drop down menu does not let me choose a race for the opposing faction

No, you have to do this:

Alright, I got a reply of why this is happening. Since Burning Crusade didn't have Recustomization you have to create a new character of a race compatible with the class of your Horde character, setting gender and appearance as you want it to have, and that's used on the transferred character. So, create a level 1 character (of a race that can be the same class) with the appearance you want and then try transferring.
