    About Warmane updates

    @Warmane Staff

    Why do you announce downtimes that you know you can't achieve? For every update, you give the players an estimated downtime, and every time the server is offline for at least twice that time.
    You know this happens every time : do something about it. Either get better at deployments, or just give us doubled (or more) predicted downtimes. Otherwise, players just keep trying to log in, and we only get frustrated.

    10 min estimated downtime -> Announce 30 min at least.
    Please.

    Lol relax man. Make some food, take a drink, use the time to go to the toilet. Its just perfect opportunity for it ;)

    No not really,there were many updates that last shorter then announced,also retail gives ETA>read>estimated not exact.

    Thing is that every realm update might take different time than we expect due to some possible errors or bugs which might, or might not appear during update process. And when we announce estimated downtime, the time is estimated (approximate).

    Would be nice if you could also update the Changelog after updating server. And or post it on the forums what exactly was fixed / changed.

    We do it every few weeks when changelog is long enough. We don't post changelogs after every few fixes.

    Have you heard of margin of error?
