    General's Mooncloth Items

    Hey,

The PvP-offset epics that should give +healing to clothies doesnt show any +healing stat, the dmg items seems to be fine though.
They only show stam, int and resilience for some reason. Tried to deleted WDB twice but still no difference, is this a bug or are the healing cloth offset epics just broken?

Are they even suppost to have +healing?

There are plate offset epics for palas that gives +healing, seems odd that the healing gear for clothies would not have a similar stat compared to the plate healing items?

I completely agree, tried to do some research but its hard to find anything on the subject, something doesnt seem to be right tho.

The mooncloth could've been added in an earlier expansion then the leather, mail and plate counterpards

Paladins ornamented non set epics doesnt have +healing either.

But there are items with + spelldmg, mb for shockadins, which no1 play..

This is somewhat blizzlike, unfortunately. The only healing belt/bracers/boots with +Heal instead of spell damage is the leather Kodohide pieces. Might be worth checking out as a Shaman, but as an HPala the Lamellar items are better since they are Plate and have Spell Crit instead of MP5.

Also note that the non-leather belt/bracers/boots have 0 armor, and have melee crit instead of spell crit. These items actually didn't even exist in retail, and healer variants of non-leather didn't exist until either S2, at which point they added Cloth, Mail, and Leather +Heal off-set items. Check a database, for example Marshal's Ornamented Greaves don't exist on any database nor wowwiki, but Veteran's Ornamented Greaves and the other armor class items do. Just using HPala items as an example since that's what I'm playing

  8. All those missing healing items (except kodohide), as wowhead says, were added in patch 4.x
All of them have different item id's range (3xxxx) compared to original 2xxxx
So what we have now are custom items with incorrect stats.
All those items, unlike further seasons' veteran's/vindicator's/guardian's, have no class restriction. So currently shamans and paladins can use it for healing spec, priests can't.

  9. No healers had healing offsets in S1 (because Blizzard are morons, evidently). Druids also SHOULDN'T have had them, but Blizzard decided to add them in patch 2.1. It's ridiculous imho. With the "custom" healing offparts, it would've been easy to take the damage offparts of healing classes and replace the damage spell with the healing spell from kodohide to keep items at a realistic itemlevel.

But now it's too late, so we might as well look forward to S2 which won't be a huge mess.

While you're probably right does this not look weird to you?
