You cannot speak for x seconds

I play on Lorderon server. Why does this happen so often?? I type nothing for an hour, then I try and talk to someone in Orgrimmar and I get the message "You cannot speak for 58 seconds"

Not sure whats going on, but I think the anti-spam protection on this server is way too aggressive.

The only mods im using are UlvUI and Carbonite.

No, there's no reason to get rid of Carbonite. The threshold for spam needs to be lowered. It's too aggressive.

The threshold for spam is fine as it is and won't be lowered. You are using an add-on that spams hidden channels to communicate with other players using it, and keeping the add-on with those features active is your choice.

There is a solution to this.
You can still use carbonite and avoid getting muted because of its spam.
I will post a step by step solution once I am home and can access the game.

There are many posts and even a guide a search away if his issue is disabling those options, not with the spam threshold as he has stated.
