Im new here i wanna start on wotlk on Icecrown realm im downloading the game atm, i just wanna ask if there is decent amount of PvE players and does all the raids and dungeons are scripted and working?

This is currently false as Eye of Eternity has been bugged for a bit and is not able to be completed.
Other than that, yes, all other things work. (Please, get gathering professions at level 5 and get gold!)

eoe is rather irrelevant, so theres that

it's "irrelevant" if the only thing you care about is gear
some people want to farm the mount, transmog gear, achievements or simply do it for fun, there's also a weekly quest to kill Malygos

^that, in fact eoe pugs are filling most quickly, probably second after the raids for sarthr... leave aside mog and stuff, i think we all enjoy that space feel stars and stuff
