Is this a scam attempt or a bug?

Right as I was entering Stormwind I received this pop-up on my screen. I did not hit anything or type into the box, it went away on it's own after about 1 minute or so.

This is my first character here on Warmane and I am on the Outlands server.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I was worried someone figured out a way to send pop-ups and might be asking for passwords from the less then saavy folks. :)
