overplayed classes?

Is paladin an overplayed class? i want to join icecrown and roll pally but not if theres a million of them

Today had a rdf, azjol-nerub... As my fellows were a quite good group, i pulled hardonox for the achi with dispersion, to move him aside from his spiders... The tank ofc was like ok i must charge in & take aggro ...i think you know what i mean. Ok, we had two palas - hop maybe? Oh please. From there on story is clear...

Be a good paladin. Be a thinking paladin. Because, besides their number, they really need of these, it is in deed rare to see a good one around...
