1. Add PvP ranks to players

I suggest adding PvP ranks to players. Something like this (or different numbers obviously):

    Scout / Private - 15 HK's
    Grunt / Corporal - 250 HK's
    Sergeant - 1000 HK's
    Master Sergeant / Senior Sergeant - 2500 HK's
    Sergeant Major / First Sergeant - 5000 HK's
    Stone Guard / Knight - 8000 HK's
    Blood Guard / Knight-Lieutenant - 12000 HK's
    Legionnaire / Knight-Captain - 17000 HK's
    Centurion / Knight-Champion 25000 HK's
    Champion / Lieutenant-Commander - 35000 HK's
    Lieutenant General / Commander - 50000 HK's
    General / Marshal - 65000 HK's
    Warlord - Field Marshal - 80000 HK's
    High Warlord - Grand Marshal - 100000 HK's

  2. Hell yeah, I could use these :P

  3. Boy, I hope you know what you're asking for here.
This is the Vanilla honor rank system but based on kills and not honor gained.

Let's assume we go by the numbers you listed.
High warlord requires 100k kills that grant honor.

Let's look at a fairly well known PvPer and High Warlord in Vanilla:
    Swifty: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/ch...rkspear/swifty

Now you can have whatever opinion about him you want to. Not the topic here.
Look at his honorable kills. 313,994 at the time I wrote this.
Whatever you think of him and his skills he does a lot of PvP or at least used to.

We're writing Legion now and he's on 313k.
100k kills is no small feat and will surely bring out the "Oh but it's just a tedious grind, please lower it!" which then leads to "There's nothing special over the titles anymore after you nerfed the required number of kills".

It happened in retail and it'll happen here.

I'm all for a fancy title that has been earned through putting in effort but we've seen time and again how the lazy attitudes and dumb excuses of equality wreck these sort of suggestions.

So just to verify: The suggestion isn't what's bad. The consequences are.
