1. Carbonite is annoying

    Hello,

I have a big problem. Everytime I enter a new Zone like from Durotar to Orgrimmar or Orgrimmar to Durotar, I get a popup to enter a password...

    It looks like this:

    "Please enter password for: CRbz11122xx"

What is this? CRB means Carbonite and I cant find any option to disable this... its hell annoying... I get this so often.. :(

  2. Solution:
There is a modified version of Carbonite to remove the password spam.
    Can be found here: http://addons.us.to/addon/carbonite
    .

    Old post:

Scroll down on the first page in the AddOn section and you get your answer ;)

On Carbonite "Privacy" options disable "Global" and "Zone" channels and use /reload command.

Even if you disable all communication options (under "Map" and "Privacy & Com") in the TBC version (1.3 or the 1.4 version you have), it still registers the channels ... lol

The cause of your problem is that some stupid individual set a password for that carbonite channel (which Carbonite doesn't do itself since it is ment to be FFA)

If you want an alternative Quest AddOn, use QuestHelper.

The only other solution would be to pre-hook the Chat handler to force Carbonite to not register for said channel/s.
But I don't think anybody would waste time creating an AddOn for that.
