Burning Crusade 1H or 2H?

I'm currently using a 2H axe but I'm looking for some good 1H's for PVP. Which are the best 1H for a shaman?

if you plan to make 2 Blacksmithing weapons the Axes are better (1h), more so if you're an orc. The haste proc on the maces doesn't stack, and you sacrifice a lot of stats for that proc.
