Burning Crusade "Unable to Connect" Are login servers down?

I just downloaded the TBC client from the warmane website, i have checked that all the realmlists are correct, yet it wont even attempt to connect to the server. it just pops up saying "unable to connect" are the login servers down? or is there something else i should be looking at? thanks

Try resetting your modem, I heard it works. I have not tried it yet and I have the same problem.
If that does not work, hang tight because I saw another forum saying this is a known bug their trying to fix.
