I have done this for a bit back on retail. Was on a small murloc island at dustwallow marsh.
After like 10 hours of farming i gave up because it was so terrible boring.
Respect for doing that for 240 hours with out getting a impingement syndrom in ur shoulder.

Ah yes, I know that island quite well on Medivh. What was interesting, is that starting on that island, there is a route of 7 Treasure Chests on the archipelago that I routinely gathered every few hours or so, since not many others were out there.
List of Treasure Chests, Dustwallow Archipelago:
1) At the NE campfire on the first island.
2) In the sunken Pandaren turtle boat just north in water.
3) On the next island to the north, near the summoning altar.
4) On the next island to the north, on the beach near the rowboat.
5) On the same island, in the camp in the middle.
6) On the next island to the east, on the beach.
7) On this same island, in the eastern camping tent.
